It is without a doubt directed to securing only the most talented personnel that is available to them. Only the top notch candidates with exceptional education and/or job accomplishments are even considered for interviews. A negative or weakness of the centralized recruiting method implemented by Rae at the core business schools was the limitations and restrictions that the method itself created. Again I reflect on the biggest limitation, limited candidates based on the 15 school concentration. Centralized recruiting creates a limit to the quality of the candidates even though they potentially come from the best schools. Some of the candidates may not possess the best qualifications or most impressive GPA, being open to resume solicitations is not the same as directly or indirectly making your presence or influence known. Boxing Personal Narrative - 741 Words

Since I was a kid I have always wanted to box and when I got older my parents finally let me box. They thought that I was going to be irresponsible and cause problems but then the summer going into ninth grade my father let me start boxing. I started off learning the basics simple combinations and how to move my feet the right way. I loved boxing at first then I grew to hate it as it got more difficult for me. My father wanted me to stay in boxing so I could learn to defend myself, but I didn’t care. At the end of my freshman year of high school, I was at the civic center with my boxing coach. It was a warm night in May and I was getting ready to practice. The gym was filled with a lot of kids who were playing basketball. Then my dad came home and told me â€Å"Are you ready to drive to fight.?† He said â€Å"Yeah† then we got in the car and drove over to the fight. On our way, there I was listening to music through my headphones. I was trying to get myself pumped up for the fight and It was a three-hour drive to Toledo. It felt really because I was listening to music. When we finally got to the fight, they weighed me in and my coach told me to start putting on my boxing gear. I wore black trunks with a red flame going down the right leg and an black tank top. After I put on my gear I started to wait till it was my turn to fight. I started to eat some cashews, but I was too nervous to eat. After a while, it was finally my turn to fight my coach wrapped my hands up and warmed me up. My coach and I started heading towards the ring so I could fight. When the bell rung, I rushed towards my opponent and started throwing all the combinations I knew. By the time that I knew, the fight was over in the first 55 second in the first round. I shook my opponent’s hand and his coach’s hand. Ol Soc Got His Just Desert Socrates was a no good , useless member of society. He went around being a gadfly (which he defines himself with ,almost as if he were proud) and basically in todays standard would be no more than a homeless person who mutters crazy ideas. He almost prides himself on his lack of wisdom and somehow gets off on constantly asking questions, because I think he knows that he no one will EVER be able to answer them all. With this knowledge he continues to pry until he is either shooed away or the person gives up in disgust , thus giving him reason to believe he has won in a matter of speaking. He reached an age few do in those days and to be quite honest I think he started to lose it. Plato had looked up to him for so many years prior to Socrates trial that he played spin doctor and told stories to make the old man look good. In short, Socrates took the easy painless way out by taking the poison, because he was smart enough to know old age was going to be a painful way to go. The body woul d just decay and gradually fall apart. Don't even get me started on how he abandoned his wife and children to only be out on the town drinking and eating with wealthy, filling theirs heads (and ears) with his persistent ponderings only for his family to barely get by.
